Shauna Cook
Shauna Cook is the owner, trainer, breeder at Carousel Ridge. Carousel Ridge's current facility opened in 2008, and is a family run operation. She brings extensive knowledge and commitment to the sport.
She began her riding career in Edmonton at Gorsline Stables. Shauna rode professionally for Jonathan Asselin of Attache Stables, Spruce Meadows, Trish Mrakawa, Ulrich Meyer Zu Bexten (Germany) and the Amir of Bahrain.
Shauna has developed numerous horses and riders up to the Grand Prix level. Her approach is specific to the needs of each horse and rider. Shauna's riding style focuses on the natural balance of the horse which allows for the development of their full potential.
Shauna accomplishments up the Grand Prix level are extensive and she has reproduced those results with multiple horse: Checkmate, Miss Germany, Synergy, Alexa 410, Bling and most recently Gallup.

Candace has tremendous knowledge of horse care, nutrition and training techniques. She is instrumental in every facet of the program, from handling younsters and stallions to top groundsperson at A level horse shows.
